St. Casimir’s Catholic School is focused on faith, academics, and family. The school has served Wells and surrounding communities for nearly 110 years. There are exciting new projects underway to connect student learning with the real world. The school is a mission of St. Casimir’s Catholic Church, and therefore maintains a strong relationship with the parish and the parishioners. Active parent involvement creates and supports a strong community base for the school.

QUALIFICATIONS
Recognizing that “[t]he project of the Catholic school is convincing only if carried out by people who are deeply motivated, because they witness to a living encounter with Christ” (Congregation for Catholic Education, 1997), the successful candidate for this position will demonstrate the capacity to cultivate the highest standards of excellence in Catholic culture, academics, and organizational leadership at Saint Casimir’s Catholic School.
Successful candidates should meet the following criteria:
1. Practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church with a strong commitment to and
working knowledge of the Catholic faith.
2. Master's Degree in Education, or in progress.
3. Three years of teaching experience at the elementary level, with experience in a Catholic school
strongly preferred.
4. Possession of or eligibility for a state issued administrative license/certificate is preferred.
5. High level of interpersonal, collaborative, organizational, and administrative skills with the ability to
implement policies, directives, and initiatives.
6. Collaborative leadership style, with the ability to work with numerous stakeholders both within and
outside the school organization.
